Michael Schubert

CEO / Co-founder

With over two decades in aviation as an airline pilot and flight operations safety inspector, Michael brings unparalleled regulatory insight and leadership to Cybex. Having worked closely with multiple civil aviation authorities, his transition into cybersecurity is anchored by an honours degree in information security, a CQI-IRCA accredited ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor certification, and a Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) qualification. Michael’s approach is compliance-driven and strategically holistic, integrating risk management, quality assurance, and training to position Cybex as a leader in robust, regulatory-aligned cybersecurity solutions.

Amalia combines a strong technical foundation earned through her honours degree in digital forensics and with a sharp eye for strategy and outreach. Her capabilities span policy and framework development, vulnerability assessments, and user awareness initiatives. Amalia also spearheads Cybex’s digital presence, advancing our commitment to visibility, thought leadership, and gender diversity in cybersecurity.
